The idea of going through depression or severe anxiety is no longer scarring. The amount of things you loose during the fight is what terrifies. The damages. After the breakthrough, you realize that you're not the same person that you used to be before the storm hits you. You loose every single great aspect of your personality and you know deep down in your soul that picking up the pieces and trying to regain what you lost is quite impossible. But you understand that you were depressed for a reason and the reason is that it was time to change. You can't go back to who you were but you can build a better you. You have the space and the freedom to do it now. Everything may seem challenging at first but practice makes perfect. Anxiety won't let you easily. You might go out of your depression but the greatest work begins there. To accept the damages and calm your anxious mind. And step by step.. you'll be grateful for what you've been through. Cause now you have a larger vision which makes you see things differently, clearly and most importantly: in a pragmatic way.
